Some animals are better behaved than humans.
Do you think that’s true? How do we respond to the refugees, people who have come to find refuge in our country.
My Great Grandfather came to Wales in 1946, lots of Italians came to
South Wales. People love Italian food here. He said he felt like an outsider for a long time though.
Have you heard of Parma Ham?
Love it and Chorizo – all that stuff.
My family is from a place near Parma.
My mother can’t stand foreign food. She wants England to stay English.
But we’re in Wales.
She thinks it’s all England. Doesn’t want any foreigners here at all.
Charming!
I don’t think she counts you Ezio. She likes you. She liked that cake you baked
on Sunday.
Made with Ricotta cheese – Italian.
What do you and your families feel about the refugees. About them
coming here, to our town.
Our Dad is cool about it, he says he has places they can stay.
Well our house is big enough for about five families.
Then there’s the stables.
And the coach house.
Stephanie wouldn’t like it though, Dad’s new girlfriend. She loves parties, having lots of friends to stay.
She wouldn’t give up the space.
Don’t blame her. Who would want a load of terrorists taking over their house? They’re mostly really rough men you know. They want to invade this country – that’s their plan.
Oh my God!
Have a look at these. SHE PASSES THE PICTURES ROUND Do the people in these pictures look like really dangerous terrorists? Do they look like they’re planning to take over the country?
They look desperate.
Really tired.
Hungry!
